ASE Test Registration

How to register for an ASE test, what it costs, and how to schedule it with Prometric.

1. Register at ase.com

Registration is only through ASE's official site. You'll pay a $34 registration fee per order plus $62 per standard test ($124 for Advanced L tests). Fees verified July 2026 from ase.com/dates-fees-test-times. ASE sets these; they change yearly. We sell preparation, never access to the test.

2. Schedule within your window

After you buy a test you have 90 days to schedule and take it. ASE opens registration in seasonal windows through the year; remote appointments are widely available, so plan a date that gives you time to prepare.

3. Choose test center or remote

Tests are delivered by Prometric: in person at a test center, or online with ProProctor remote proctoring. Remote is available for recert tests and first-time G1; some first-time tests require a test center — you'll see which when you register.

4. Prepare before you book

Don't burn your window unprepared. Start with a practice test, read the matching study guide, and build a plan to your test date. See also certification cost and how to become ASE certified.
